later I've noticed that light and heavy models are mixed in these reviews and most of the restrictive reviews seem to be for the light version. After figuring that out, I bought the high-performance version to support four tiers of test hardware on my desk. The rack seems solid even before I add a large, heavy network analyzer as the bottom tier. I use two shelves to support non-rack units in the top half and the rack is very stable with *a little* more weight. The sides of the stand are secured with gloss coated screws while all other brackets are black coated. Plenty of hardware screws/nuts are included, which is a good thing since the nuts attach to the round mounting holes in the rack (hopefully!). This differs from the mounting system that comes with shelves from the same brand which is designed to fit square holes and cannot be used with this shelf.
