I have a large holdall that suits my needs perfectly. Suddenly all the handles of the strap decided to tear off the seam at once. At first I tried to buy a new one, but it turned out that this model of a sports bag is no longer produced - what's new? I considered (and tried without success) various solutions until I came across these rivets. You really did your job, but I have a few tips to keep you from repeating my mistakes. First, the name may say "copper rivets" but copper outperforms brass twice over. No wonder copper is more expensive than brass. In fairness, the content is visible in the image but can be missed at first glance. Copper is much easier to work with, especially if you need to cut the shaft: you can use ordinary wire cutters. To cut the brass shaft you really need bolt cutters. Second, after punching the hole (I used a drill bit in my case) and using a burr tool to push the burr in, it's best to use a rubber mallet to do this. . Of course, after you've cut the shank, you'll need a regular hammer to flatten the head. Also make sure the rivet head stays flat the whole time. Enjoy!
