This is a good idea for a treetop, but good luck attaching it to your artificial Christmas tree. If you need a real tree, it is easier to build because the top tree is stiffer than the artificial one. If you have more money to spend you can choose something else, but if you are on a budget or want to save money this topper is a good compromise. The light is bluish and the first impression is good. However, I don't like that the size is too big for my 4ft tree, and secondly, it's battery operated, not electric. The thread is short. So if your tree is big, think twice. Overall, the price is reasonable for yet another stylish decor. However, it doesn't suit my needs.
