I was looking for a bag that could be placed neatly next to a chair while I watch TV and knit. But all the ones I've had so far are either too small or too complex to make my project work. This one is perfect. In fact, I have a good 3 projects in my bag that I rotate. When I'm fed up, I can change places without getting up and without finding another project of mine, changing balls of yarn and needles. Everything is there. The yarn is kept separate from each other and from the project part of the bag. It has so many pockets I don't know what to put in it. The bodice is see through so I can see which skein my yarn is coming from when I change the intarsia style which can be multiple skeins of the same color. However, I find it really too big for a travel bag, unless you are traveling for a few days. I have a separate bag for day trips. And the bag itself is light, but until everything fits in it isn't itself heavy, I wouldn't call it light. I am very happy with my bag.
