Review on BaoFeng BF 888S Two Radio Pack by Mark Adlesh

I have been using these radios for a few years now. For the price, I understand they won't last forever. This last order of 20 is the lowest quality I have ever seen. They are lighter I think because less metal is used in the production. The first thing I noticed was that the clips that came with it are made entirely out of plastic. It's less of a clip and more of a piece of plastic that needs to be bent to attach. Older radios have a metal plate with a spring that twists like a real clip, more durable. The location of the brackets is also different. On newer radios it's a plastic cover that falls off when you pull the screws out, inside are some threaded metal pieces that the screws attach to. In the old design, the metal plate/screws are attached to the metal tabs on the back of the radio. I feel like it's a little safer. I'm tempted to open up one of the new radios and compare it to one of the old ones and see what else is different. If it weren't for the cheap radios, I'd almost say they're fake. I definitely don't expect this party to last long.
