BaoFeng BF 888S Two Radio Pack Review

I bought this product less than a year ago and almost all of them are already broken. The sound quality is not very good and the cables connecting the headphones break easily. The antennas also often fall off and I have to constantly reattach them because they are not screwed tight. Also, many radios can't even charge. Not worth the money, do not buy.

These radios just don't get programmed. I am using 888s software and BF480 software recommended by the vendor and I have used CHIRP. They are programmed with VHF FREQUENCY BAND but with UHF FREQ. I clone existing radios and record a new upload and it boots with no errors but nothing but some gibberish with channels 5,6,7. I tried to find out, but nothing happened with the seller.

Be sure to test these radios when you get them, especially if you are buying multiple units. Apparently the quality control is not very good. These are 2w radios so they don't transmit well through walls (you can go through a wall in convention centers but no more). They work best within line of sight.)
