I bought it as a console in May 2022. For a long time I chose between Series S and Series X. Before that, for some time there was a regular Xbox One Fat and I was very pleased with the capabilities of a modest set-top box worth 10,000 (on the secondary). Ultimately, he refused to buy the Series S for a number of reasons - 1) a small amount of internal memory (I'm one of those "unique" who are used to installing 15-20 different games and playing a little - according to my mood in different projects at the same time, maybe this is not normal, I don't know); 2) since childhood I do not like white color in electronics; 3) after the sale of Xbox One Fat, a certain number of games remained on discs (including suitable projects like Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc. ) that I didn’t want to get rid of, and buying them digitally again is a dubious idea). In fact, only these three points pushed me away from the Series S, I did not pay much attention to performance. A friend has a Series S at the moment - what I saw in terms of graphics quality and performance pleasantly impressed me, no matter how much I tried to find a significant difference with my Series X - it doesn’t work. Those who have a limited budget, no collection of discs and are not particularly interested in 4K - I advise you to take a closer look at the Series S, it is worth every penny, you will not regret it. Now about the Xbox Series X itself. It is very stylish ("neutral" appearance allows you to place it in any interior, whether it's a Khrushchev with a "grandfather's" renovation or a modern high-tech apartment), quite compact (incomparable with the Series S, of course), moderately heavy (such a pleasant heaviness). Very powerful at the moment. But its parameters are not sky-high, even on paper. In all respects, its performance is about the same as a PC with an RTX 3060 ti. Of course, there is no talk of any RTX 3080 and 3090. BUT the RTX 3060 ti alone costs almost as much as two Xbox Series X consoles as of 11/21/2022, so the benefit is clear even if you have no idea what Game P is.
