Review on Maximum Absorbency Postpartum Maternity Catch-All Pads By Frida Mom - Pack Of 18 by Brian West

I am glad I ordered these in advance and packed at least one in my hospital bag. My postpartum nurses told me that they had completely run out of regular hospital ice pads and were not sure if and when more will arrive. They had to improvise with plastic ice packs wrapped in non woven gauze which felt very awkward and uncomfortable. I found these to be very soothing in the healing process. Definitely eased the swelling. Although not very absorbent for the first couple of days heavy bleeding but more after the 4th or 5th day-the time period when your sore the most I believe. I only gave it 4 stars because once the cold subsided, the pad feels very thick and heavy. The thin line of adhesive could be improved too but that’s just my two cents. Overall, I liked this product.
