Review on 🦅 Hawk Performance HPS 5.0 HB453B.585 Disc Brake Pad by Jared Gopalan

I didn't like the stock front bolsters because they kept squeaking as they slowly came to a stop. Instead of enjoying my otherwise great Civic Type-R, I felt annoyed driving around town. Maybe creaking caterpillars don't bother someone, but I couldn't put up with it. Good news? I had these pads installed (Hawk HB453B.585) and all the noise was gone! Also, there seems to be less launch dust than standard pads and I haven't noticed any degradation in braking performance. Note: Revain claims these pads will not fit the 2018 Civic Type-R, but that is incorrect. They are great for front brakes and are a great alternative to stock pads.
