I bought my first iPod touch 4g and wanted a case. I have a hard case phone and every time I drop it the case explodes and the phone falls to the ground. So I needed something that could absorb shock without exposing the iPod on both sides. This case does both and gives me the freedom not to be too careful with my iPod! The best part is that it has a 2mm thick silicone nub so if you lay it face down the screen never touches the ground but always floats safely. :] This case clings to fabric like pants, but it offers better protection than anything else, so it's worth it! My only suggestion is to get a screen protector (a type of plastic film) and a back panel protector as they don't fit snugly against the skin. So if a pebble gets into the back cover, it'll roll around and scratch the back cover without you knowing, but easily avoided with a $2 back plate protector. I will buy again and again!
