Review on LEWITT Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone by Kendra Simpson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a professional microphone that will make your voice SHINE

This microphone is a bonus for those who are told they have either a 'unique' or a naturally 'pleasant' voice. It takes what makes those voices what they are, naturally pleasing or unique, and picks them up at 4-5x the price of mic accuracy. This is just a phenomenal microphone. If you are confident in your voice, or if you have a voice that is your "product", this versatile microphone should be your long-term companion. I'd say it beats anything up to $800, and then I'd look at Lewitt's 540 Subzero (which costs $700). To explain. Many microphones like the SM7B have a "sound" that the microphone applies to the voice. It's almost like a filter. If you have a unique or natural voice and you use a microphone that uses its sound signature, you will find that you are destroying your natural voice. This microphone beautifully reproduces the original natural sound, hence the "Pure" designation. So if you're just starting your professional audio journey (podcasting, voiceover or music) and have a voice that's your "calling card," this mic is for you. Period. This microphone will help you in your professional career and you will be amazed by Lewitt. By the way too. many people think they don't have a "good" voice; You do have a beautiful signature voice, but it doesn't match the imaginary "ideal" voice in your head. Love your voice, find something to say and give it to the world without filters.
