Good (sort of) but not great

Having discovered portable bathtubs on Revain a few years ago and tried quite a few, I now consider myself the world's leading expert in the field. Okay, not really, but I know a thing or two because I've tried a few things. So here's my take on it: I got this tub a few weeks ago when I moved into my new home. My master bathroom doesn't have a bathtub (this wasn't an option on the floorplan I wanted to build, I'll add one over time), just a bathtub sized shower. In my previous home (rental) I had this round blue that everyone loves (with good reason). The problem was I left it on the shower floor for a year as I always prefer a bath to a shower and unbeknownst to me water got into the floor panel. So I threw it away and thought I'd try it somewhere new. Notable Results: 1. Easy to assemble2. it's *quite thin (especially compared to what I had before)3. The rods are made of metal and can be clearly felt through the vinyl/fabric hybrid4. I can definitely stretch my legs fully (I'm 5ft 7in) 5. Very spacious 6. Difficult to empty (floor drain in the middle of the shower, the bottom of the tub completely clogs it). Side drain with hose and run the hose under the tub to the drain and then as the side drain is high you will need to pour it all the way out. faster than even a traditional bathtub. The top cover helps a little, but not enough. Overall, this tub was "good". Looks really cute (strawberry print) but was much more difficult to use. It *would* be worth it for the size alone if it weren't so uncomfortable. Leaning back hurts because you're leaning on metal bars. I also constantly worried about being extra careful not to tear the thin vinyl/cloth hybrid material. I ended up ordering one of the old reliable blue ones as well, thinking it was worth it as I liked it a little better. He arrived last night. I moved my strawberry tub, washed the blue one and filled it up. As soon as I walked in I realized how much better it is. There is no comparison. It's much more comfortable, I couldn't break or tear it even if I tried and the water stayed hot for 2 hours. If being able to fully stretch your legs is your number one priority, this tub is for you. If hot water, general physical well-being, and durability are more important priorities, don't take this bath.
