This was a replacement for an older version of the same phone system. It worked pretty much the same and had call blocking features that the other didn't. I want to block calls without a single call. The problem was that the main charger's main screen went black about six months after purchase. I called Panasonic - they said send it. It would take a few weeks to process - and it wasn't worth it. I wish their policy was to ship the unit to me first and then I would ship the other unit back so there is no downtime. Luckily, the handsets had working screens, so I don't really miss the lack of a working screen on the main charger.
