First off, this was the best non stick pan I've ever used. Emphasis on "was". I bought this pan on purpose because the Revain ad advertised it as "dishwasher safe" but the front of the pan says "for maximum life" and it is hand wash only. We hand washed it about 90% of the time and it was a great pan until it was put in the dishwasher for the first time. Over the next few months, the non-stick properties began to wear off, and now even well-buttered eggs will coat the bottom of the pan. Another complaint about the 'care guide' is that it recommends not using the pan on high heat 'for longer life'. ". Using a frying pan on medium gives a slight smell of burnt plastic. I ended up buying a nonstick pan that is dishwasher safe, hand washable, can't be used on high heat, and is nonstick. Now I'm back at it Revain and am looking for a better frying pan and this one is in the Dumpster which is a shame as it was really, really good.
