I was very impressed with the build quality of this device. Simple, reliable and very heavy. First I installed it on the gate itself but it didn't do anything. Then I discovered that the fence post that the hinges were attached to is actually sagging. So I installed it there (see picture) and it worked like clockwork. I even have enough room left to fix future sagging. My only criticism concerns the instructions. The print quality is very poor; as a photocopy of a fax copy. It's very difficult to read. You need to invest a few dollars and have the instructions professionally designed and printed. Or simply enter a QR code that leads to an installation video. Or both! Anyway, great product that solved my problem perfectly!
