I am very satisfied with this laptop stand. It's well built and allows you to shoot from a variety of angles. This allows the front edge of the keyboard to be directly at table height. You can set it to have a very gentle slope when typing the old-fashioned way. You can have it on a very steep slope for a tablet. The non-slip pads seem very suitable for the job. My only minor complaint is that I wish it could open an inch or two wider. It's not narrow enough that the MacBook Pro wobbles noticeably on it, I just wish there was a little more support on the sides for security.
