Review on Discover Creative Possibilities 📚 with Skacel's Building Block Pattern Book by Kim Sanchez

I've just learned to knit and was looking for something to show me what all those knitting instructions mean so I can gain confidence before I start patterning my sweater. It starts with creating a straight knit and purl pattern, and then reading a graphic chart. I'm in the third block and I've learned how to do twists and how to add drops (k2tog, p3tog) and loops (yo). The author has a website with a video on how to make stitches. The camera angle to see how the stitch works is good and makes it easy to to follow him. blocks are beautiful. They're big enough for me to see the pattern and get an idea of the technique. They are also small enough that I could finish them in a week (8-10 hours?). I can also take one with me when I fly or have to wait somewhere. I look forward to putting them all together to make a beautiful throw for my living room.
