Review on Hokuru Hori Knife Landscaping Sharpening by Chris Russell

Great multi tool

As soon as I opened the box I was surprised at how sharp the teeth were. I will definitely be careful with this as it can easily cut through the skin. After a thorough examination of the instrument, I noticed that it has a pleasant weight and feels good in the hand. The wooden handle is smooth to the touch and has a rounded edge. There is also a nice point on the top. I definitely recommend storing it in a thick leather case when not in use. I was even more excited that it was marked with measurements down the center for bottom depth. That was one of the reasons this particular model caught my attention. I decided to put it to good use and trim my fern for the season. I have 2 different types of ferns although I'm not sure what they are called. One is very large, like a fan, and the other is smaller, more like a stick. The blade easily cuts both types. I wouldn't say it slipped, but still easier than using scissors. I would take a handful at the base and then cut lightly. I haven't had a chance to test it with many other flavors yet, but I plan to. For around $20 this is a great multi tool. I plan to update my review later as gardening season will soon be in full swing.
