Review on 🔄 Enhanced 50A 5500 Watt Auto Transfer Switch by Spartan Power: Ideal for Optimizing Solar & Wind Off Grid Energy Systems by Doug Twilights

The advertisement (Spartan Power SP-TS4500PLUS) says 5500W and the instructions says 4500W However it doesn't matter to me, as I am using it on a 15A @ 120V circuit. Both my inverter and general purpose plugs are GFCI protected and each shuts off when I turn on the power supply. To prevent the residual current circuit breaker from tripping, the grounding cables from the inverter and grid are disconnected and the switch is not grounded. However, the output power ground wire is grounded. It would be nice if the ground wire connection diagram was also included in the user manual. Maybe I'll have to do some more experiments later. Too bad my solar panels are not grounded. I added an additional circuit by monitoring the 12V sense line so that when the solar voltage is around 18V (battery in limbo) the switch will automatically turn on and switch to inverter power, and turn off and switch back to grid power, when it is below 5 F. So far it has worked well.
