shoes looked and felt comfortable for walking around the house. I am happy about my new purchase! Size "40" was perfect for my height 9ft. I then walked 2 miles around the area and every little up and down in the road caused my feet to slide left or right or in front of the shoe. I really liked the really great heel pad, but it lacks arch support and the sock-like upper, while comfortable, isn't enough to keep your foot stable and in place on uneven surfaces.
