I bought two of these extenders and was planning to use one in the top socket of the wall socket and the other in the bottom socket - one facing right and the other to the left. Unfortunately, the extension cord is so inflated that it's impossible to adjust them this way. It doesn't matter whether they point left and right, up and down, or in the same direction. Once you have connected one, it is not possible to connect another. There is hardly any space for a simple lamp cable in the socket above/below the extension cable. This is a good reliable unit and I expect it to last for many years. . Too bad it doesn't work the way I want it to!
