I chose this portable stand for my sketchbook which is adjustable in height. It is VERY versatile depending on the size of the sketchbook. 2 levels make it very adjustable. The fact that you separate it to open it allows it to be adapted to both small and large books. Best of all, you can fold it up and throw it in your bag when you're done! However, I don't like it as a real laptop stand. The legs holding the laptop in place are very high and really dig into my wrist when in the normal keyboard position. They are annoying and quite annoying. But for me that's not critical, because I use it more as a stand for a sketchbook.
