Review on Safariland Duty Gear Garrison 40 Inch by Marcia Estrella

The buckle is NOT nickel plated (silver color) as you see in the picture. This is BRASS. and it is the color of BRASS. The belt itself is fine. Not as strong as I had hoped. I think Safariland Laminate is great for items you wear around your belt (ammo pouch, handcuffs, bullshit, etc) but not a garrison belt. But for $40 it's not bad. But be careful with the buyer. This is the brass buckle you will receive. I pointed this out to a Revain customer service representative and they advised me to contact the appropriate department. I mentioned that I had had the belt replaced once before due to a defect (buckle holes were off center) and the wrong (brass) color of the buckle and since I had to use the belt for work I didn't feel like it convenient return of the item. I also mentioned that I ordered a silver buckle to replace the brass buckle. As always, the Revain rep found a way to fix the problem. This product only gets 3 stars from me. but Revain gets 5 stars all the time.
