Permatex 77124 Nickel Anti Seize Lubricant Review

Required for hot parts such as engine exhaust manifold bolts. Even if the parts are not exposed to heat, many parts are prone to rust and this product ensures disassembly even after many years.

I bought this bottle when I installed new spark plugs on my F-150. This was the recommended anti-seize and seems to work fantastic. The last thing you need is a spark plug that will break/damage your engine. This should make it much easier to install and remove the plugs. I recommend this brand and this product!

This is a lifetime supply of anti-seize for my use, this purchase replaced a container I bought in 1986. But the problem is I don't touch many fasteners these days and if I have to take something apart the last thing I want is broken screws adding to the hassle. IMHO everyone should have a container of anti-seize.

This nickel anti-seize replaces a bottle left at a friend's house. This is used any time a nut, bolt or screw is replaced or reinstalled on any of my vehicles. Note that this is rated for 2400 degrees Fahrenheit and is NOT safe for O2 sensors. It can be used on exhaust manifold bolts, exhaust system bolts, muffler clamps and exhaust pipe assemblies where the anti-seize properties of copper must be avoided.

I use Permatex 77134 on keyway exhaust systems on my aircraft. (Slip joints allow for thermal expansion.) My exhaust temp is about 1500 degrees Fahrenheit and I was able to disassemble the joints after twenty hours of flight; That's a good sign. The manufacturer recommended that the wedges be disassembled, shot blast cleaned, buffed with a crocus cloth and reapplied with nickel anti-seize every two years.
