Such a great concept. The video on the list made me feel so confident, but it doesn't have to be. The first major issue is the placement of the power button. With normal use of the tool, my hand sort of turns off the switch. Of course, I only notice that when I realize that the product doesn't bother my hair. By then it cools down and I have to wait for it to heat up again. By the way, there is no notification when the tool has reached the right temperature. The second downside for me is that the iron doesn't fully close. Even if I keep the small tips closed (these tips are still very hot, by the way), the flat iron won't close on my hair. So forget about using any creative styling tool (crimping etc), it doesn't even work to straighten it properly. After all, this thing does not correspond in any way to the stated temperatures. I have fine baby hair. With my regular hot styling tool I don't need to go above 225F to get results on my hair. I can hardly get a decent curl with this Amovee. The tool is clearly hot, it just won't spin. An absolute waste of money. I doubt I can return it as I already foolishly recycled the packaging.
