I purchased this dress as part of a costume for a Mom Prom I attended. While the dress is lovely, and was very suitable for my needs it is not very practical for someone looking for a long term item. The lace is the type that starts looking picked right away. I am short, at 5's" and expected the length to be to much, but the fit was a little large throughout the dress. The under-piece is very comfortable for those who don't like the feel of lace against their skin.
