Replaces an old broken slingshot I've used several times a week for decades. I put a veg inside, pour in soapy water/bleached water, let sit, fill and drain a few times, then toss. Works perfectly. Because of the gear train and large handle, there is no need to crank heavily or hard. It's built with the relative precision of molded plastic parts, likely thanks to CAD and 3D modeling. It's strong but can break with abuse or carelessness, it's plastic not rubber. I see no reason why it shouldn't take many years. If you use another type of lure without a large handle, you will appreciate this one.
