I bought the same M705 to replace it (as it seemed to me) because of the double click on the left button that appeared, but this was after many years of intensive use. so there was no doubt in the purchase. However, I am completely disappointed with the result of the purchase and I am thinking of desoldering new buttons from it and soldering them into the old MX Revolution, worn to holes. By the way, whoever has hands - a double click is treated if the button is disassembled (without soldering! We stick a needle under the hooks at the ends, do not lose the pusher). It is necessary to rub the contacts with a strip of office paper 2 mm wide, the strip is pushed between the contacts, then gently press the brass plastic until it clicks, and drag the paper back and forth five times. You donโt need much, it works like sandpaper and can erase all the precious metal (if it was there, of course, once). ate: My MX Revolution has died forever =/, but I also managed to repair the worn MX Performance (a compromise version of the revolution, see photo), now you can somehow live.
