Review on Rokinon CV14M NEX Clicked Compatibility Wide Angle by Shawn Sanders

WOW! Great lens at a great price. Could this be true Can you buy a cinema lens for a few hundred dollars and still expect/get a decent age? That was my question, even after researching the Rokinon and this 14mm lens in particular before making the purchase. Now that I have it in my hands and on my Sony a7 I can say that I am absolutely satisfied. Age quality is excellent. Is that the best I've ever seen? No not at all. But then I compare "best" to lenses that cost 5-10 times more. There can be no fair or reasonable comparison to these $$$ differences. However, I would describe myself as a prosumer or want to become a professional. Therefore, the images, both photos and videos, it captures work great for me. As for Rokinon, I don't know of any other company that makes cine lenses in this price range. I had the opportunity to call one of the company's technicians and received very good advice from him. All in all, if you're looking for reliable results but still have a $300 budget, this would be a solid choice.
