These are the Guardians! - Men's

These are my first loafers. I always like to kick off my shoes and put on my slippers when I get home, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to find slippers that are durable and comfortable to wear (even if only for a few hours). I started looking for moccasins, stumbled across them and decided this is just what I need. When they arrived I literally put them on straight away. They are made of very soft elk leather inside and out. There is no lining (which made me very happy as I live in Phoenix and don't need anything warm). The leather breathes well and hugs your feet, while the semi-rigid sockliner and outsole make it easy to walk around the garden, get mail, or whatever without worrying about the sole punctured quickly. reviews, I was worried about choosing the right size. I have large, wide feet and my "size" varies greatly by manufacturer. I have a pair of 11.5 sneakers that fit perfectly and my sneakers and work shoes are a 12 or 12.5. I chose 13s and they are perfect. My big toe is about 1/4 inch from the front of the moccasin and the back wraps nicely around my feet. The width is a bit narrow. but the leather is so soft it stretches slightly to accommodate my wide feet. I don't wear them for long but I'm sure they will continue to mold around my feet and become more and more comfortable over time. They are now listed as "driving shoes" which is another item I've always wanted. I have a high performance car that I take to the track occasionally and a job that sometimes requires me to drive several hours a day. I thought a flexible pair of shoes would only make things more comfortable. This shoe does a great job of providing stiffness in normal use and flexibility when driving. This gives me more pedal control and easy heel and toe riding. A pair of shoes that are suitable for both driving and slippers is ideal. Of course the price is a bit high but I assume they will last for many years. Considering I had 2 pairs of slippers for $20 a year if they last my 5 years I got a deal.
