This device has some nice features that others don't have. Remote control, multiple inputs plus radio, preset equalizers, display, wide speaker impedance range. However, there are some disadvantages. Bluetooth connects quickly and easily, the display is easy to read, connections are very easy, the radio is clean even inside my 2 foot brick wall in the middle of nowhere (I mean 45 miles from a gallon of milk). Now for the cons: I found the remote very flexible (not in a good way), the equalizer presets don't work with the radio function, the remote volume and physical knob work in sync. Since the maximum volume is set by the physical nob (can be good or bad), the power button on the remote turns on the display and output, but the blue light in the nob stays on when turned off by the remote, as per the manual is pressed then the whole device seems to turn off (which is good, but it seems to work quite differently than the remote), if it's turned off by any means (remote or button) it always reverts back to the aux line. The instructions are BASIC with no real help beyond what a minute or 2 button presses can provide. The radio has presets but I can't even link to instructions on how to program it, but the remote allows direct tuning which is nice. It has almost no bass for my speakers (80's klipsch kg3) but the sound is clear. The unit allows you to attach it to the base with screws, but attaching it to the bottom of the shelf will turn the display upside down, so keep that in mind. It's not a terrible device, but it definitely has some issues.
