Not bad for the price. If you want it to protect your Macbook from falls, this doesn't help at all. If you just want to protect it from scratches, this should work. I wanted something beautiful and unusual. I was disappointed in the quality of the image printed here. It looks pixelated and print lines are visible on it. I'm a photographer and graphic designer, so maybe I'm just taking a closer look at these things. If the image had a higher resolution and looked less grainy/pixelated/cheap I would have given it 5 stars. Another thing to consider is if you plan on using a USB-C hub adapter that needs to sit flush with the laptop, this cover may get in the way (see photo with teal background). I measured the thickness after taking the photo; The lid is 1/16 inch thick. I bought an adapter that connects to the laptop with a 2-3 inch cable so it doesn't stick to the laptop. Finally, I'm not sure about other MacBooks, but I have a MacBook Pro (A2338) and the fans rarely come on; I don't see the point of having vents on the bottom (I think it should theoretically prevent overheating) since the vents are technically where the keyboard and screen meet. I don't think it would hurt to have them with you. Overall, the cover is pretty (seen from a distance) but looks a bit cheap up close (I think). I'm only keeping it because it's not worth returning or replacing. It's just "so-so".
