Review on YONGNUO YN660 Speedlite: Versatile Wireless Manual Flash with GN66 Power for Canon Nikon Pentax Olympus by Tina Blake

Excellent flash for such a price

Excellent flash for its price. Compared to Youngnuo Mark III, these things are a lot bigger. That's not bad, but with the battery holder on the camera and that flash, it adds weight to the camera. Also, most pre-cut gels will not work. I run my 660s with YN560tx and they work great but they don't zoom to 105mm when running 560tx I don't care but if they come out with 660tx I will upgrade from 560tx. last thing. The very best Nikon or Cannon flash costs between $600 and $700. I can buy 4 YN660, 4 battery packs, 4 tripods and 4 NEEWER 32x32 softboxes with detachable grilles for the price of a Nikon or Cannon flash. It doesn't get any smarter. These things are solidly built and don't feel cheap. But let's just say that in a year they will fail. it's only $75 I can replace without breaking the bank.
