That's the way it should be. Very easy. Nothing to program. Batteries were not included so I had to put some in myself. And start pushing buttons. And everything worked. Made several attempts. To get used to my TV, I guess. But it's like the remote control that came with the TV just can't find it. So tired of searching lol. So I can buy everything properly online. So I just bought it. If an original remote ever comes out, I'll just keep this one. Since all my TVs have two remotes, you're going to lose the other one anyway lol. Do you have a backup. All in all it's just a remote control, nothing more nothing less, no tricks, no settings, no programming, it works right out of the box.
