I use it to trim my grandson's pirate jacket. This is just the right size for youth clothing. The price was really good. I have bought a lot of gold jewelry and this was the cheapest for me. The top edge of the trim can be sewn without getting caught in the sequin part, which can cause serious damage to the needle and machine. Even though it says hand wash, turning the garment inside out and using the gentle cycle washes well. Since I'm using it for a costume that I won't be using often, it's fine by me. But if you need to wash frequently, it may not be good under such circumstances.
