I was looking for a small but powerful mini pc to make my own managed router. RAM and multiple gigabit LAN ports were a MUST! I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bunch of features I don't need. I didn't want to spend money on graphics and tons of disk space. I was glad to find this computer. I installed PFsense and connected it to my network. Immediately, I got faster speeds than my expensive branded router. It worked well in all my tests. I was glad I didn't have any issues with buffer loss, which is a common problem with many off-the-shelf routers. There is enough system memory to handle all incoming and outgoing data that routers need to manage. It has now taken the place of a branded router that I had and haven't noticed any problems so far.
