It's not the best sticking option, but that's also why it's easy to use. It holds up well enough that if you wrap it in layers you can press the wrap very tightly against the food leaving little air between the food and the wrap meaning the food will last longer. In fact, I just ate year old steaks (heavy discount price) and the meat looked great. No burning because I could wrap it tightly. It tasted just as good as any other steak I've put in the freezer. I also put wrapped meat in a freezer bag and that keeps the wrapper in place and everything ok.
