I bought this jug with water filter only due to lack of water due to Covid and all Britas were sold out at the time. Bought an extra filter. It's important to note that our tap water tastes great straight from the tap. I just wanted something to filter out the chemicals. We used the jug for ONE ONE WEEK using only 2 jugs of water per day (we only used it to make tea and coffee). At this point the water began to smell and taste fishy.
