Review on 🔪 KA-BAR 1217S Leather Sheath with USMC Logo | 7" Blade Knife | Brown by Kevin Graham

First of all. I went ahead and gave this one a 5 star rating even though the sheath closure didn't fit my KA-BAR the way I would have liked. The reason it doesn't fit is because my KA-BAR is a WWII (1944-1945) Camillus Issued Knife model. The handle of my particular model of knife is slightly wider than the USMC knife made and sold today. Not really a big deal, with a small modification, removing the original strap and replacing the 550 cable all is fine! I'm sticking with a 5 star rating because regardless of my knife model, this sheath is solid and very well made for the KA-BAR it was designed for. There is a sticker on the case stating that it was made in Mexico. I understand this might be an issue for some, but for $11, you can't expect more. The leather is actually very high quality. It's not super hard, but it's not super soft either. I'll condition it to make it a little more pliable for my liking. All in all, if you are looking for a replacement case for your KA-BAR, this is definitely a good investment! You can't beat the price and quality!
