The only way to fix the alarm if you want 99% relative humidity is to remove the speaker inside.
I bought this regulator for a mushroom housing where I need 99% relative humidity. This is the maximum value for the alarm. Therefore, it will not last as it always reaches the high alert level. The company offers to increase the percentage of alerts, but you can't go beyond 99.0. I opened and removed the speaker. Simply break off the 2 contact points carefully. And reassemble.
