What a difference this makes compared to our previous shower head! Showering in luxury.I did not install the entire kit just get since what is inside the wall works just fine. And I needed to keep the connecting pipe since it connects two hoses, a pet shower wand and the regular handheld wand. This meant I had to find a coupling to connect the two male threaded pipes. After trips to first thelocal useless hardware store and two big box home improvement stores I came home with a brass coupling since nobody had brushed or polished nickel or stainless steel. But it worked. The kit includes Teflon tape, so I didn't have to buy that. Tested the shower head and handheld shower wand, perfect! The handheld shower wand is a short stick with three rows of holes. I like it a lot because it not only puts out a pretty powerful spray but also helps clean the tub area wthout spraying out since I can aim around and behind shampoo bottles a lot better.Both shower head and handheld wand have silicone tipped holes which I have found keep any calcium buildup nicely at bay. Eventually I want the entire kit installed. But that is a man's job. What I have done so far can be done by any woman. I am a senior citizen with a lot of steel in my body and compromised hand strength thanks to an underinsured tailgater on the highway, so if I could do this anyone can.If your bathroom is in need of an upgrade, I think you'll love this shower kit as much as I do.
