My son (3) can easily put these shoes on and take them off himself. It looks good and can be worn on many occasions - just not when it's raining. My daughter has had a very similar Geox model for a long time. So I know that not only the looks are right, but also the quality. I have the impression that the shoe runs small, so it is better to take one size larger. The Velcro fasteners can be adjusted. Therefore "a bit too big" is better than "shouldn't have been smaller".
