I wanted it fast so got it here instead of drop shipping. Set up this 20 amp meter to monitor an output current of 0.33A. Worked well for testing solar input charging, as well as some off-grid do-it-yourself solar lighting I'm dreaming up. I did not test at 16VDC or 3A. I had a question if it was ok for the meter to be battery powered only on the load pins and this seller spent several days getting to the bottom of me all the way to the manufacturer. A+ service and good product. Note that if you control the battery charge input when the battery is on the load side, the meter will stay on when the power is turned off because the shunt is internal. In this situation, voltage is displayed but no current. I am using an external shunt meter for monitoring, so this is not a problem in my project as the load is LED.
