Readings match FLUKE gauge

This is an incredibly handy device. I am building an RC (Radio Control) model and need to know how much power different types and brands of servos draw. Also, I need to know the voltage of my LiPo battery so I know when to charge it. I compared the ammeter readings to the readings from a Fluke multimeter and they were correct. Suitable for small solar panels

I cannot give this five stars as I am not a qualified electronics tester and have only had it for a short time, so the lifespan is unknown. This 20 amp model is rated for lower currents and does not require a rail. An accuracy of 1% is specified. I have used mine on a small solar system and it has helped me understand what goes on with solar panels in detail as well as ongoing management. One device cannot measure everything. Handy panel meter! I bought this for the "Power Usage" feature so I can track battery power consumption in my project. This seems very accurate; My charger seems to put the same amount of mAh into the battery after I've used it, as indicated by the used counter. I wanted it fast so got it here instead of drop shipping. Set up this 20 amp meter to monitor an output current of 0.33A. Worked well for testing solar input charging, as well as some off-grid do-it-yourself solar lighting I'm dreaming up. I did not test at 16VDC or 3A. Decent counter, some caveats.

Decent counter. The ears that hold it are made of tin. So be prepared to use some silicone to permanently secure it if using on sheet metal thicker than 18 gauge. Accuracy is a little off and the calibration instructions you have to look up on the web are a bit lacking, but once you get the hang of it it's not that hard. but for my needs it works fine.
