Review on Alpine SPR 10TW 1 Inch Component Tweeters by Adam Townsend

You clicked this for one or both of two reasons, it's alpine or less than $100. These are not horn tweeters and no focal, but powerful Alpine tweeters. Revain has unauthorized dealers so be careful. I bought a sub here and after 3 weeks it was scrap. This was already fixed when it was sold to me. I guarantee I'll use Crutchfield as a seller if it's on Revain. In any case, they are clear and loud. I had to use a 2 inch hole saw and they fit my SUV perfectly. They come with numerous attachments and sound deadening pads, which I haven't used any of these on. Holds up perfectly. I have all the Alpine, door, sub, amps and now the tweeters and they bring out the highs and let me drop the Type R 6x8 to add more bass with the 12" Type R. Not necessary but why not now when I have you. Experiment with the install location, just because your factory location is set it may not be the best. I then installed something above the door speakers so the sounds mix as they reach you. There is nothing worse than one sound wave trying to catch another. I also hooked them up to the amp for my door speakers and they are WOW! Now the lows rumble like mirrors and the highs pick up notes I didn't even know were on certain tracks. Also, they look great, I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Alpine cars, but if you're paying for a pioneer, jbl, jl or infiniti, Alpine seems to pull me back and regret other's famous brands. Again, keep in mind that sellers on Amazon tend to have small mailboxes and will sell you junk, so don't blame Alpine if you don't know who you gave your money to. You can find better tweeters, but no better ones for less than $100.
