I have had many clogging problems in my house caused by various reasons. These are good lint catchers that I have used to remove water from a washing machine sink to prevent clogging with lint. The last ones I use were some kind of plastic and I wasn't very happy with them because they filled up very quickly. These lint catchers appear to be well woven, made of steel and appear to be quite durable and effective. My biggest issue with these traps is how easy it is to install and remove them and I've had no problems with them. Great deal and for the price. A piece of advice about steel lint collectors: when they get full, you can dry them, burn off the lint and reuse them.
