People started driving in cars next door and we heard it was probably because the thieves had RFID repeaters and the signal from the key fobs around the house picked up. We bought this box to keep on the shelf. To test this, I put the key fobs in and went straight to the cars. Not a single car opened. I opened the lid and picked up the box. They are still not open. I left the lid open and lowered the box under the door handles and then they opened. Then I locked the cars, closed the lid of the box and lowered the box, and none of the cars opened again. It was perfect. We now always keep our keys in the box and sleep better at night. The lid is a bit difficult to open, but that's not a big deal. Definitely worth the reassurance that the bad guys can't open cars that easily.
