WARNING! This glass is not suitable for aquariums. The purple glass I bought matched the color of my new aquarium. I rinsed it several times and put it in the cycle tank. After about 5 days I notice a fuzzy layer at the bottom of the aquarium from afar. Upon closer inspection, it looked like chipped paint. I took my gravel tool and wiggled it, only to be shocked that some paint was peeling off the glass. I quickly emptied the tank and oh my god everything was covered in purple flakes. Even the filter was filled with purple color. I emailed the seller but of course I didn't get a reply. I'm glad I was able to find out and hopefully saved others from harming anything that lives in their aquarium. Stay away from all of this.
