Great travel pants: my feedback

These are great travel pants. I'm not too big on tactical gear. Im not in the military or law enforcement, but I do a lot of traveling. The pockets are plentiful without it looking like typical military pants. The zippered pockets were secure enough to hold my passport, ids, cash etc without adding bulk. It made going through airport security a breeze, with everything I needed easily accessible. As for the materials, it reminds me of pants from khul. They have a little stretch, so crouching down or moving around is easy to do. They feel very comfortable. They work great in warm weather. Wore them in 80 degree weather in Kona, Hawaii. Was in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in below freezing temps, walking through snow, and these kept me warm enough as long as I kept moving around. They dry fairly quick so 2 pairs lasted me a good week before washing them. Even then I probably could have gotten away with another week of wear before washing them.I love the looks of these pants. They are functional but aren't obviously tactical or military. There's a combo of style and function and comfort that I truly like about these pants. I normally sleep in my underwear, but when I was out in the country side of Mongolia, sleeping in boxers was out of the question. These were comfortable enough to sleep in.Very functional, rugged, comfortable, decent looking pants.

Pros
  • Extremely versatile, can be used for work or play seamlessly
Cons
  • Not ideal for individuals with thicker ankles or calves
