Review on πŸ”Œ Treatlife Smart Ceiling Fan Control and Dimmer Light Switch 2PACK: Wi-Fi Enabled, Works with Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings - Remote Control, Neutral Wire Required by Wayne Gilbert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A bit pricey but works great

Works great, wires are pre-stripped, long enough for easy connection and clearly labeled. Very easy to install and once it's on it goes into setup mode, the app found it straight away. I don't know how they connect it behind the scenes, but it connects to the Smart Life app that most of these Chinese IoT devices use, and with that you can connect it to your Google Assistant or whatever you're using . Very odd as I reconnected Smart Life from Google Assistant and logged in with my newly created Treat Life account and somehow kept both my existing Smart Life sockets and these new Treat Life ceiling fan switches. Hopefully they don't just kill these servers and I get stupid switches again, but so far so good. Works great, responds to commands immediately. The only issue I had was with the dimmer lock, I'm still not sure I set it correctly because the UI is very confusing, but I thought I locked it at 100% brightness and than next time I turned on the light, they were dim. They aren't dimmable so they started to smell, not very good. I'm replacing the fan with a modern dimmable one, so it's not a big deal to me, but you should be aware that the dimmer lock is confusing at best and not working properly at worst.
